Kaarin Anstey
Kaarin Anstey is Professor of Psychology at the University of New South Wales in Sydney and Director of the UNSW Ageing Futures Institute. She conducts research in the fields of cognitive ageing, dementia epidemiology and dementia risk reduction. Kaarin Anstey has developed dementia risk assessments tools that are used in clinical practice and research, including the ANU-ADRI, CogDrisk and DemNCD. She has also led several dementia risk reduction trials using digital health approaches and contributed to clinical guidelines on dementia risk reduction. Prof. Anstey is a member of the WHO Guideline Development Group for Risk Reduction of Cognitive Decline and Dementia, a member of the World Dementia Council, and Vice Chair of the Governance Committee of the Global Council on Brain Health.
