Francesca Mangialasche
Dr. Francesca Mangialasche is a Geriatrician and Principal Researcher in Clinical Geriatric Epidemiology, at the Division of Clinical Geriatrics, Center for Alzheimer Research, Karolinska Institute, and Karolinska University Hospital, Medical Unit Aging, Stockholm, Sweden.
Dr. Mangialasche research activity focuses on early detection and prevention of cognitive impairment, Alzheimer´s disease and dementia. She is Co-Chief Scientific Officer of the UK-Nordic Brain Network, an international and multidisciplinary research group and collaborative forum lead by Prof. Miia Kivipelto.
Dr. Mangialasche is the Executive Director of the World-Wide FINGERS Global Scientific Coordinating Center at the FINGERS Brain Health Institute, providing scientific coordination to the World-Wide FINGERS Network (WW-FINGERS, 70 countries) of multidomain trials for risk reduction and prevention of Alzheimer´s disease and dementia.
